Black pepper (Piper nigrum) is a natural dietary supplement that is mainly used as a promoter of the absorption of other active substances (e.g. curcumin). It is rich in a powerful antioxidant called piperine, which may help prevent cell damage from free radicals. In small doses, it can have a positive effect on digestion, metabolism and immunity in animals.
It is only suitable for internal use and in small doses.
