Flaxseed

Flaxseed (Linum usitatissimum) is a versatile natural food supplement suitable for horses, dogs and cats. Thanks to its high content of omega-3 fatty acids, mucilaginous substances and fibre, it has a positive effect on digestion, coat quality and the overall vitality of the animal.

It is suitable for internal and external use.

As a dietary supplement it is recommended:

• to support digestion and healthy intestinal microflora
• in inflammations of the digestive and urinary tract
• to improve coat and skin quality
• as a source of energy during periods of exertion or convalescence
• for constipation or as a gentle purgative
• as a support for detoxification and natural regeneration of the body

For external use, it is suitable for burns, wounds and abscesses.

Feeding method: suitable for daily feeding (but ideally in 3 - 6 week treatments), alone or as part of the feed; minced or briefly cooked

Dosage:

• Horses: 50 - 150 g/day
• Dogs: 0.5 - 1 g/day per 1 kg of dog weight 
• Cats: 0.5 g/day per 1 kg of dog weight
