Milk thistle (Silybum marianum) is a natural nutritional supplement suitable for horses, dogs and cats. It contains silymarin, a powerful antioxidant and hepatoprotective substance that has a positive effect on the liver, digestion, immunity and overall vitality of the animal.

It is suitable for internal and external use.

As a dietary supplement it is recommended:

for the protection and regeneration of the liver
in chronic liver and gallbladder diseases
to detoxify the body after treatment, vaccination or poisoning
for inflammation of the digestive tract
to support immunity and vitality
as a prevention during stress or convalescence

For external use, it is suitable for skin inflammations, eczema and minor injuries (e.g. in the form of poultices or oil).

Packing: 500 g

Feeding method: suitable for daily feeding, alone or as part of the feed. Most commonly used is the ground fruit or oil of milk thistle.

Dosage:

horses: 100 g adult horse, 50 g foal and pony
dogs: for prevention: 8 g per day - dogs weighing 15 - 20 kg
for indications: 15 g per day - dogs weighing 15 - 20 kg, for 2 - 3 months
cats: 1/2 teaspoon - cats weighing up to 5kg

It is recommended for the following health problems:

Poisoning (drugs, pesticides, toxins) - promoting detoxification
